Title: Haflidi Hallgrimsson (1941- Icelandic)

I've been playing his Poemi (vn & st orch), a rather willful post-serial stab, as though trying to mess up what were pleasant orchestral forces. Likely my first and last Icelander.

I have, alas, and so far have found him to be one of the few real duds I've encountered while exploring off the beaten path. Tedious stuff. I say that based on these two discs:
