I think that was the most logical assumption.
I dislike background music, especially popular music of today. It seems that every supermarket and the mass merchandising stores are the worse; the music is so loud one can't ignore it. I even ask management to turn the volume down. I hate this music!
The sound of construction equipment.
I dislike the meejer.
It lies and then lies when it is discovered lieing.
I dislike the fact that I am now constantly in touch and technologically bound.
I hate that American towns in the south are built so that you have to drive 30 miles to get anywhere.
I hate anti-intellectual American youth culture.
I hate that money is the way to freedom.
I dislike the present state of Classical retailers in Chicago.
I dislike the commercialization of my favorite holidays
I dislike most of what's on TV

My Child is very dislikeable, at 7pm in the evening whilst I am listening to Sinding's suite and Goldmark's violin concerto. Competing with an irritating Nintendo DS and Mario Bros is just not on.

I agree and it seems that no one is doing anything about changing this culture that carries forward into adulthood. This culture is pervasive among all ethnic and economic elements of society.

Yes, it is a most disturbing trend. This is a generation awash with unprecedented abundance and educational opportunity. While the American literacy rate (like most developed nations) is well over 95 percent, the average American can only manage to read about a single book a year. Given the greater distribution of both wealth and education in our country (combined with a growing population), our current state of intellectual lethargy is perplexing.

No, satire is an art, whereas sarcasm, to me, implies laziness and a fear of revealing oneself.

I dislike the smell of paint. At the moment I have a paint-induced headache. However, I love the sense of satisfaction and achievement that comes with painting a room! 0:)
