This is the Field Marshall of the local Wooteez, who will be taking the Woots out on reconnasaince missions around the backyard perimeter.  He has seen action in Afghanistan, San Francisco, Iraq and Benidorm, and I expect my Woots will make a great trainee.

I broke my calico cat coffee mug this morning :'(.  Fortunately, my real, live, sixteen-year-old calico is fine.  A kitten picture of her:

She's a pretty thing--and she seems to know it, too! :)

My Woots...a very silly thing indeed.  :)

That Woots caught unmanageable fleas in Liverpool, I couldn't get rid of them, so that poor Woots was dispatched back to its original owner.  But...

I now have a flea free SON OF WOOTS, the son of the Woots pictured above.  This Woots (called Woots 3) is by far the cleanest most comforting wee Woots I have had.  Woots 3 will go on to be a big Tom cat and a fabulous friend.  Here is Woots 3, son of Woots 2 pictured at the bottom as a kitten.  It was transported to Glasgow from Liverpool by a friend.

I tried that, tablets, sprays, but the little black buggers just would not go away.

No Sir, I did not try one of those, I did purchse one though and I am keeping it in store for my visit to Fantasyland, California in 2012.

DavidRoss

Cool!  I wonder if you can bring it in your carry-on or if you'll have to put it with checked baggage?

Fortunately, my real, live, sixteen-year-old calico is fine.

Then, on Ash Wednesday (March 9th, 2011), she suddenly was far from fine.   :'(

Three weeks later, I adopted Tenille from a friend:

No, I didn't name her, and yes, she has a brother named "The Captain".

Sorry to hear of your loss, Wendell.

On the brighter side, however, I have an answer to the question posed by Ms Palin in your signature:  They get them the same way political parties get candidates:  they volunteer!

I initially thought this was the Chat Thread, and the content proved unusually focused in topic... ;D

John, have you considered naming successive Wootses using Roman numerals, like kings and Popes?

WOOTS III LIVERPPUDLIANIS

Edit: That is clearly not how you translate 'of Liverpool' in Latin, but it does have an amusingly pompous ring to it.

Maybe this should be linked to the 'That Darn Cat Thread'.
