When someone is wearing what looks like an explosive vest you take no chances

Police say he was wearing what looked like a hoax explosive. You cannot of course know it isn't real, and even if you thought it was fake you cannot take a chance when the man has already killed people.

First time I've seen a man attacked with a narwhal tusk too. Same man, oddly enough.

What do you call a country in which a person convicted to 16 (sixteen!) years in prison for terrorism (terrorism!) is released after 1 (one!) year and freely roams the streets?
I call it a shithole.

There are lots of things wrong with Britain, but I'm not sure that I'd describe it, or anyone else's country, as 'a shithole'. I'd still rather live here than in many other countries.

The chap brandishing a tusk was a Polish chef working at Fishmongers Hall. He is in line to for an official honour from Poland acknowledging his "sacrifice and courage".
