Title: Program Music: Your Sex Life

Inspired by Brian's anecdote about his friend who said The Rite Of Spring describes his sexual activity in detail.

Hah!

I'll play sincerely.

With respect to frequency: Beethoven - The Ruins of Athens

With respect to the best moments: Scriabin - The Poem of Ecstasy

With respect to the worst moments: Schubert - The Unfinished Symphony

Overall assessment: Haydn - Symphony No. 30 in C major, Hob I:30 "Hallelujah"

Inspired by the Monty Python quote "Sex sex sex, that's all they think about!" (Life of Brian, 1979), my choice is: J.S. Bach, In allen meinen Taten, BWV 97.

Witty thread.

I rather liked the character in the Benny Hill show, many decades ago who said:

'I certainly don't believe in sex before marriage and I'm none too sure about it afterwards'

"Do you believe in same sex marriage?"
"Yes indeed. I have been married for 40 years ... and the sex always the same."

I think Varèse's Déserts pretty much sums it up. :P

I much prefer slim women to fat women. And I do like women who choose to remove all of their body hair. As a result, I'm confused by Mussorgsky: Night on Bald Mountain.

e: which reminds me, with an unknown you should always wrap it up (serious talk: although not double wrap - because the increased friction can increase chances of the condom breaking) but wrap all the same to avoid an unwanted intimate encounter with Koechlin: Le buisson ardent.

You could try for once Ravel's Concerto for the Left Hand and pretend you were just Haydn's Il distratto.  ;D
