A Jim Hall Sunday. I love jazz guitar.

An album I always want to like more than I actually do when I listen to it.

I discovered this fascinating YouTube channel, and it's definitely got me digging up all my old Gil Evans albums.

Very focused, very detailed.

I like this album a lot. In a way it reminds me of Miles Davis' electric period, but it's not electric and it's from 1967.

One of my favorite jazz disks. The sound, the playing, the tunes. Everything is top notch.

I am a big fan of Bill Dixon. His records on the Italian Soul Note label are really great if you are into that free side of jazz.

Going round and round while I was reading last night.

Yep. I have his complete Soul Note box set. His is one of my favourites from that series.
