Is anybody a fan of Walton and/or collecting his recordings?
I have a few recordings and I am thinking about buying more.
I was wondering if there is any general or substantial difference in his recordings among the labels above in terms of quality, style, history, etc.

My answer is yes to both of your opening questions. I think that you'll find plenty of recommendations here:

To some extent it depends on whether or not you like historical recordings. There are several recommendable box sets of Walton's music around.

Thanks a lot, the discussion is very informative and helpful. I already have the EMI 12disc set. They are mostly excellent.
