I recently recorded "Lady Laiton's Almain" by John Dowland (1563 - 1626):

I am glad to see that, as an important figure of the golden age of English lute music, John Dowland's works are played today not only on lute or guitar, but also on cello or strings ("Flow My Tears", "Melancholy Galliard", etc). Hopefully see more on piano as well.
