Allegro for Strings

greg

nice piece, MT. Surprisingly, a lot of sounds to me like Tchaikovsky instead of Bruckner or Mahler. Okay, more like a blend of Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Berlioz and Bruckner, to be exact.

on a side note, i don't know exactly why you would choose to call it an "Orchestral Piece" when it's just for strings- why don't you call it "Piece for String Orchestra?"

greg

not saying you should, just saying i expected something a little bit more Romantic-style. Do your own thing, though

greg

i would say right on the late Classical-early Romantic time period edge

you changed the title! I like it. Is this the style you plan to keep on composing in?
