Title: All possible musical scales
Post by: greg on June 25, 2020, 01:07:42 PM
So... found something I've been looking for quite a while.

It's brand new, and I'm not aware of anything like it before. It catalogs and names every single one of the 2048 possible musical scales within the 12 tone system.

Probably going to pick this one up, even despite the price.

Also thinking one day I would consider using a microtonal system and cataloguing/naming all of those scales... thinking about a 9 tone system first of all... but that is so down the road, I don't even have the setup to really experiment with stuff like that yet.

It's legit btw, a page for each scale. Along with additional stuff it is over 2600 pages total.

That site seems to be full of dead links when clicking on the notes...
