Kertesz for 4-6, Harnoncourt for 7-9.
High quality - you are pretty well set up if you can grab Suitner, Kertesz, or Rowicki in 1-3.

I did indeed get on Beethoven's 5th piano concerto...

I just don't think I like it as much as the previous two.  :-[

Edouard Franck.
Sonata in F major, opus 42.

Richard Franck.
Serenade in C major, opus 24.
Sonata in D major, opus 22.

Thomas Blees, Cello.
Roswitha Gediga, Piano.

I absolute love the music from Father and Son. Such accesible and romantic music, with gorgeous melodies, and an expert feel to make the music flow! Recording and performance are beyond approach.

I read yesterday that Gmail had a massive problem with synchronizing mails, notifications, and other issues, Europa wide. I saw these things already a month ago, and reported it. They denied that anything was wrong, but I got a mail from them with sincere apologies, they admitted I was right and they were wrong!
Anyway my notifications are in synch now, finally.
They admitted that you were right and they were wrong?!  :o  Congrats!

And glad that all is well now.  :)

I have only heard the Naxos versions of the symphonies but they were very dull.

Most seem to compare his symphonies to Brahms. In that vein, I like Bruch's classical symphonic architecture and the mid-19th Century German vibe of Schumann and his ilk.
