Hey everyone,
This is a new waltz that I'm working on...it's just a sample with pianos only for now, but is meant for an orchestra.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to watch!

It definitely sounds like something from a time past, but I don't know enough about the form to speak with any sort of authority. The melody was easily enough to see and follow though.
Interesting comment, I find that alot of music that I create has that effect on people, I for one have never heard it before lol. I started making it in April and I am still working on it. I think I could stretch it out more abit but it works as it is for now. I am looking to make it around 5 to 7 mins.
Thanks for the comment :)

Definitely worth pursuing. You know the rudiments of music very well. It would be nice for you to put the music score up so we can follow it.
Hello Joe!
Your comment is a great encouragement and really warms my heart. I will try to get the score up but I'm still very much an amateur when it comes to notation so at this time I will hold onto for now...I really only know some basics, but that is changing rapidly. I'm going to post a composition today, actually it contains the very first bit of music that I came up with on a piano in 1996 when I was 15. I'll upload it soon once I record it (I'll be playing the piano/keyboard this time around) it will sound much better because I am getting a grasp on how to use my virtual instruments...My goal is to post it in the early afternoon and there is no score for it as of yet.
Well I made a so so recording of it but I can do much better and I have to play some basketball right now so hopefully I'll have it ready to go by tonight! It's a bit challenging when you are not using weighted keys since it's a soft piece of music plus I rarely practice so I'm rusty too.
