Title: Sketch of piece
Post by: aleazk on February 16, 2016, 06:07:09 AM
So...

So far I have not posted here. What could be a better presentation that my latest hit?

It's just the sketch of a musique concrète piece. In celebration of the first direct detection of gravitational waves, I made this piece. The only sound samples used are the sound* of the gravitational wave that was detected and Stephen Hawking's comments about the event.

The sound of the G-wave: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyDcTbR-kEA (read the description in the video to get the animation)

*that is, the G-wave transduced to sound.

Make any comment.

I'm later than I expected.  But, I thought this was well done, and great fun.

It sounds nicer than an elephant giving birth to triplets
