D Minor, I think this (http://www.music-scores.com/composer/saul.php) is what you need. (This address is actually www.music-scores.com/composer/saul.php!)
Here's (http://www.music-scores.co.uk/discus/messages/3551/8243.html?1176677415) his special discussion page. Should be fun. Nice to see he's a competition winner ::)
Oh joy! Just four posts in we get this little exchange, between Saul and one of his fans:
Quote
Saul - thanks anthony,
have you not heard of handel's and vivaldi's concerto grossis?[sic]
Anthony - I know what a concert grosso is..I'm just not as familiar with them as I am with this Baroque stuff I'm into now.
I'm going to enjoy breathing the rarified air of such discourse...
Let us draw the Curtain of Charity on the ensuing scene . . . .
D Minor, Saul's writing something especially for you! :D

I'm currently working on an orchestral work In D minor. I think it would be cool music for film..

Yes!!!
Saul calls the followng an "Orchestral work in D minor"

I would suggest The Delusion of the Fuzzy for a title. 0:)
He seems victimized by too many hours in the Baroque, attendance at a Philip Glass concert, and hearing one of Paul McCartney's classical attempts.
Saul has some ability, but "erratic" is the main adjective here.

Sorry, not enough typos, don't believe you. ;D
Another suggestion would be to make it longer (more specific).
How about Orchestral Work in D Minor?
(Yes, I know you'd prefer Piano Concerto in D Minor... ;D)

And is Saul D. too busy dallying with Polyhymnia to visit us any more? :-[

I'm starting to get a headache laughing so hard at this.
Saul will fix all the Baroque music, after he stops sniffing rococaine. $:)

Since he has already written
Chanukah, I am waiting for the
Jewish Holidays Symphony (to rival Ives's great example). Just think -
Rosh Hashonah, Yom Kippur, Pesach, Shavuos, and as grand finale
Purim, with Saul's inimitable brand of hamantaschen.

That would be so kosher

WHY??????? Its very hard for me to comprehend why you would want M forever back and keep taking the piss out of Saul.....Saul was a pussycat compared to the two M's.....

He may have gotten right in your face. Maybe sometimes abit egotistical, but he never came off as omnipotent, nor was he arrogant, crude, sarcastic as the other two resulting from deep seeded anger...just maybe abit of anti semitism?

true, he wasn't like them- i'd rather have Saul back than M Forever.....
No... M forever occasionally made interesting contributions, and I enjoyed his opionated posts anyway...
I could almost feel sorry for Saul (especially as we're all ripping the piss) if he wasn't so monumentally irritating.
(I edited the last sentence in case 'personal attacks' counts retrospectively!)
If Saul's music is sufficient to make just one person happy ...... to cause just one smile on a child's face ....... to spread just a little love on this planet ........ then isn't that enough to shield it from criticism?

Guido,
I could deal with Monumentally irritating, I cant deal with insulting sarcastic pomposity....

;D Now, if you are serious, let us all apply this little precept to Dittersdorf, Elgar &c.

You should have seen what it was originally (before the edit!)
You are right though... monumentally irritating is Goboenomo. Saul was one step ahead of that...

he wasn't irritating to me.... and i doubt to many other people, maybe some, though i honestly don't know how.
maybe the sentence fragment
thoughts
were irritating
because they were childlike?
maybe that was it
and he seemed lazy,
though this feels like writing poetry
except it's all messed up
(i title that poem "Composition #0")
You guys are ruthless.

Thanks to both of you D minor and Robert.
The Mendelssohn was played very nicely indeed.
Hmm. Saul is back! Perhaps I should come back and chat with my old friends like Saul, greg, and Karl. Or, perhaps I should come back to see the look on Guido's face...
