A very sensitive yet unsentimental vision of the 9th. For those who'd like Mehta without the dawdle, this is extremely fine. The Tokyo orchestra is perfectly attuned to Bruckner's sound world and the recording clear and solid.

Discovered that Poirot (with David Suchet) is available on Amazon Prime.  Happy to see that they are there as my library doesn't have all of the DVDs.   :)

Well this is already out on digital at least. Perhaps January is when a physical CD comes out?

Interesting in part because she's doing the rather rare op.7, Songs from the Dvur Karlove Manuscript (the only other recording is Bernarda Fink). I shall have to give it a listen... even if I can't readily justify another copy of the other collections she's doing...

If I'm going to get to the end of this set, the gap between listens to new cantatas might need to be less than 10 months. I'm aiming for more like one a week...
