Quote from: Iota on April 14, 2024, 10:25:15 AMI had no idea what to call myself when signing up, and the first thing that came to mind as something I liked was 'Io', one of Jupiter's moons that I've always found rather striking. From that came Iota, which as the Greek letter representing the sound 'i' seemed to fit, as it was 'I' would be doing the posting, and finally I liked the feeling of insignificance it implied.
So to answer the question, it was the best I could come up with at the time.  ::)

I like this answer. If I was independently wealthy I would have went into astrophysics. When I first starting ripping my collection in 2004 I started naming the folders that EAC points to after Jupiter's moons. I think that is roughly a dozen different moon names from the various PCs over the years.

A log from what I was listening to earlier:

You've got one half of it. The other half's hint is that aside from a Beethoven symphony it was one of my earliest classical music memories. I really won't say anymore as this hint narrows it down a bit too much  ;)

Where I used to work was the Abyss, Mahler 9 was a school outing by comparison.

Quote from: Harry on April 18, 2024, 03:53:30 AMWell I await your findings before I plunge into it, for I am not a great favourite of piano concertos, but then again, I like the music of Lloyd ;D
Yes, I remember that Harry. I already like the 1st, 3rd and 4th concertos but will report back on the boxed set.
