I saw these on our walk today...

Spotted in a still quasiseedy part of town that some hipsters are trying to rejuvenate.  The colors pop, and this was taken on a cloudy day.

Centaurusweg 39 in Tilburg, free for everyone to see - against the facade of the CVB Recycling company. The mural is by Studio Giftig from Veldhoven, which consists of the artist duo Niels van Swaemen and Kaspar van Leek. The work entitled 'Trashure' has been chosen by an international audience as the most beautiful street art of 2022.

I looked at some of his other work.  Some is great, some less so.  (Like most people.)  He claims he is the most shadow banned cartoonist on Instagram.  Maybe I would need to look at more of his cartoons, but I see nothing that would warrant a shadow ban.  Maybe I'm missing something.  (The Speaker/Apple cartoon elicited a guffaw.)

It is edgy if... you're fourteen.

I was most impressed by the portraits: Nina Simone, J Dilla, Jayden Perkins.

Which makes one wonder why he would be shadow banned at all.  But the internet veritably bursts at the seams with people who are very, very sensitive.  And intolerant.  And demanding of censorship and silencing others.

EDIT: it's a hard thing to just share a file on the internet, I'm trying to figure out.

EDIT 2: succeeded

Made this artwork.

After making it I read in 'Logic of Sensation' by Deleuze about the art of Bacon. I think I have solved what Bacon called a big problem. I might be the first one in the world. Bacon isolated his figures, just one figure, to do away with narrative and show what paint only can do, narrative is hard to avoid in painting (or one has to paint purely abstract). I have put not one but multiple figures on canvas without narrative, only 'matters-of-fact'.

This is a breakthrough in the history of art (if I am the first).  8)

EDIT 3: I called the work 'Schrik, vlucht en vaart' ('Fright, flight and tempo'). Those are the matters-of-fact. If you look well you can see humans, I count five. A small bird also can be seen and I also see a big bird, but that is not a very clear image. And to left a fantastical creature can be seen smiling. Maybe you see still other figures.

Great if you've managed to do something new 8) . I can see some figures there but don't know enough about abstract art to judge it.
