I choose Tureck.  Yes, I know that many other pianists are exceptional Bach performing artists.

I had to go along with Tureck.  While I appreciate what Gould has done, all of the quirks and ticks that go along with his performances make for very annoying cds.

Also, Tureck's ability to highlight the architecture of Bach is unparalleled.  I'd take her over Hewitt any day of the week.
