Yes, but Mahler means Painter in Norwegian. So this is very appropriate.

I hope they start guarding the cemetery now.

Yeah, there's what, 9 of them? I wish I had invisible spray, like in Spongebob, so I could spraypaint his name all over town without getting caught.

Big Gustav Painter would turn in his grave crescendo if he saw that picture below.

I would have sprayed Sergei Prokofiev, but Gustav Mahler is good enough.   ;)   ;D

I guess finding ANTON BRUCKNER graffitied in a metro corridor should be like a coming of age, but somehow, I can't muster much enthusiasm for the thought.

No problem! Choose the Place-des-Arts station. That's where the MSO concert hall is  :D.

Thats it.  I'm off to spray "Rautavaara Rules ya bamz" across the City Hall entrance here in Glasgow.  Maybe that's too much.  Perhaps I will start instead with "HECTOR BERLIOZ", to see what people make of it.   :o

There.  I sneaked in and painted it on the ceiling:

Haha. Nice!
But you might wanna try spraypaint that doesn't look like it's floating next time.

Inspired by this photo, yesterday, when I was at the JCC, I wrote "GUSTAV MAHLER" in great big caps on a whiteboard where the last group had left a list of composers (but not Mahler, and at the JCC, no less).
