I have been witnessing a regrettable academic brouhaha, which is not the least bit funny, and so it might be better characterized as a brouha, or even just a brou, which reminds me that Clancy's opens in a few minutes. In any case, this mountainous kerfluffle is extremely serious, since it stains, tarnishes, and brownishes, and if you order today, it will even ratchify a formerly glorious reputation, namely that of an infamous Frenchman, and I know that does not narrow things down for you at all, and so I regrettably inform you that Professor Theodore von Schwarzenhoffen (q.v.) has incontrovertible evidence - on film !!! - that the opera known as Pelleas et Melisande aka Pelleas und Melisande aka Pelleas and Melisande aka Pell 'n' Mel by the scandalous roué and even roux Clawed De Bussy is a seventh-class fraud!
Yes, this "composer" of other people's operas now stands accused of lifting, purloining, and basically kleptifying the little-known Persian Carpathian opera Schreckenschnatz by Gilka Kimo and Ossip Pepito.
To wit: the filmic evidence is available to all now on YouTube: advance to the 4:50 mark for the pudding in this tragedy-doo-dah:

I thank you for your attention!

Poor Clawed...
Clawed was flawed, no doubt about it!

In France, plagiarisme is an exclusive favoritism for the beach (la plage). It all leads back to La mer, dunnit?

And
La Mer according to
Professor Theodore Von Schwarzenhoffen Ph.D., M.D., LL.D., D.D.S., and F.F.F.F was stolen from
Klaus Harmony's epic homage to
Martha Stewart Mädchenpfadfinder sind eine Gute Sache (iTranslation: Girl Scouts Are A Good Thing).

Quantum physicists are investigating exactly how
Clawed De Bussy was able to appropriate this music 90 years before it was composed.
It baffles Science!
Just like these two: The Pronkwonk Twins, Brentwood (The World's Smallest Giant) and Elwood (The World's Largest Midget)

Subtly alluded to in the

This is getting scary! :o The General has a Facebook page!

But is he a composer or a veal cutlet? 8)
I suspect he is not a relative of the professor, but he might be related to this famous

The incredible
Baron Von Zipper (the one pointing with the cap, aka Harvey Lembeck).

Scary, indeed. ;D
Actually, I was referring to a character from the Greek film
"Το κλάμα βγήκε απ'τον παράδεισο" (a satire of old Greek, semi-iconic film melodramas of the 60's-70's), a vile Nazi general in occupied Greece. He's no composer, but certainly a music lover...-->(he's the one being hit by the shoe) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkhVo6fG48I&feature=related)
