Title: Those of you with vinyl
Post by: OzRadio on February 05, 2009, 05:02:19 PM
How often do you listen to your classical on vinyl compared to cd? I finally gave in and bought my first 3 classical records the other day. They're so darn cheap; they seem like a good way to try out works that I am not likely to purchase soon, if ever, on disc. Those of you with notable numbers of records, do they get respectable play or primarily gather dust?

I have a few thousand LP's but play them only once in a while.

Is it because of the sound quality, convenience, or other reasons?

SQ and convenience are clearly the determining factors for my preference for CD's over LP's.
