(I've posted this topic in the wrong place, so I'm posting it here again)
Hello fellow music lovers from the GMG Forum.
On my second post here, I'd like to ask you to help me identify the three unknown pieces in the following two files.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PV5BC6VQ (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PV5BC6VQ)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=40E8L7WU (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=40E8L7WU)
It's my supposition that they're Slavic, post-chopinisque pieces, but I got no further information about them.
Many thanks to all and kindest regards.
Tried to help, but the link you listed is Megaplaud (?) and no music; at least that's all I get, sorry! :(

If it works fine for you, then why don't you help and identify the piece? ???

One of the reasons why I
HATE Megaupload - this happens all the time. I've never managed to download
a single file from there! >:( >:( >:( >:(
The links worked for me and I put them on sendspace for those who couldn't get it to work:

These are pretty difficult. My guesses are something by Anton Rubinstein or Mikhail Glinka, or perhaps some smaller works by Leopold Godowsky. Unfortunately I don't know these composers very well. Godowsky is my best guess... can anyone confirm that these are not by Liszt? That is also a possibility I suppose.
Thanks, Chris!
I've downloaded them now but, unfortunately, won't be able to help. :-\

Well, thanks for resending the links and for the tips. I'll investigate the piano music of Anton Rubinstein (I don't think these works were composed by Glinka, but I'll also investigate his piano music).
Thanks to all those who have tried too.

Don't think it's Glinka, have you rulled out Villa-Lobos? My best guess would be Moszkowski or very early Scriabin prehaps.
Are those encore pieces from some recital?
