Casting about for a suitable reply, I came upon this bit of cat trivia from my Cat Trivia calendar for 2009:

Pulcinella, Italian composer Domenico Scarlatti's cat, used to leap onto the keyboard of the composer's harpsichord and walk up and down on the keys.  Scarlatti appeased his cat by composing a fugue, which became known as "The Cat's Fugue."  0:)
