nah, i have a super strategy this time, whenever Adrian Gonzalez is at bat, we either pitch around him or intentionally walk him, other than him, nobody on that lineup can swing the bat!

You're lucky you got any responses at all on this thread.
The interest in baseball among the "bluenoses" around here is less than zero. They would rather brag about their own musical compositions,(which probably aren't good enough to earn a performance) or the thousands of cds in their collection. Which they probably couldn't listen to in 3 full lifetimes.
Maybe somebody can explain the compulsions that drive these hoarders?

Meanwhile, LETS GO METS!!

How about the NL West? After a few years in a row of shame we are the best division in baseball this year. At least the most competitive.

NPR had an interesting report on the MLB draft today. Out of the first 30 picks, only one player drafted was under 6-feet tall. It appears that, to the talent evaluators, size really matters.

well, since most people drafted in the first round were pitchers, size matters! Because if you have a tall pitcher, the pitch is coming down on you, and is more difficult to hit.

that pissed me off so much, the M's are playing so well lately, and the A's are only a half game back!
