Title: Looking for the correct tempo (violin concerto)
Post by: rappy on November 19, 2009, 02:08:22 AM
I've draught a beginning of a concerto for violin and big orchestra but I'm unsure how fast it should be played.

First sample: dotted quarter = 54 http://www.dgsp-rheinland-pfalz.de/vkonzert.mp3
Second sample: dotted quarter = 63 http://www.dgsp-rheinland-pfalz.de/vkonzert2.mp3
Third sample: dotted quarter = 46 http://www.dgsp-rheinland-pfalz.de/vkonzert3.mp3

Score: http://www.dgsp-rheinland-pfalz.de/vkonzert.pdf

P.S.: I'm trying out something new. Do you think it is of any use? There should follow a short violin solo and then a "main" string theme.

Anyway, I like the music a lot!!
