The repertoire is still repetitive, I mean MPO performed Beethoven 9th just two seasons ago. Still it's thrilling to have TWO flute virtuosos coming, Emmanuel Pahud and Sharon Bezaly...YIPPPIIIIIEEEE!!! Akiko Suwanai's coming too. It's a pity the only big ensemble coming are Berlin Baroque Soloists, but getting Wolfram Christ and Rainer Kussmaul coming alongside Pahud is still mouthwatering...

It's getting more and more conservative. But to sell tickets....i guess that's the only way to go? Not like the attendance has been weak this past season, which makes me wonder. Some really good programmes under Kees Bakels, Claus Peter Flor and Pekka Saraste though. Great chamber programming too! What an array of soloists and conductors, i can't wait!
