We don't have a thread about him? :o

Anyone listen to him? He's very eclectic and doesn't seem to have his own distinct style (unless he has one in his works that I've not heard yet), but he's still very good.
He has a couple of "firsts": his X, Y, Z was the first Japanese electroacoustic work, and his Nirvana Symphony was the first proto-Spectral piece.
My personal favorites are Ectoplasme and Rokudan- neglected but must-listen works.
I think the Japanese Composers Thread ate up all the Nipponese oxygen. :(
All I ever heard was the SQ on that old LaSalle DG disc (w/Lutoslawski, Penderecki, & Cage). I guess that Symphony is his claim to fame? (on MarcoPolo?)
I guess that and the film scores he wrote.
There's also this fine disc:

which won't help your CDCDCD at all.
