Title: Unknown baroque music piece? Help please!
Post by: drgnk on January 23, 2012, 09:12:47 AM
Does anyone know the name of this classical music piece? It sounds like a baroque music (Bach, Handel, Vivaldi or someone else). Thanks in advance.

I don't recognize the piece, but its certainly baroque. If you like this type of thing i highly recommend the Opus 6 Concerti Grossi, by Handel, particularly as recorded by Christopher Hogwood. They are probably the best compositions of this form ever written (i consider Bach's own contribution to the concerto grosso genre, namely, the Brandenburg's, to be of a different nature altogether, and thus not really comparable).

If you like the classic Baroque sound, this is as classic as it gets.
