I could tolerate the sound well enough, but I didn't hear anything to make it stand out from the other 10,001 recordings of these concertos.

Baroque music on modern strings always sounds wrong to me, so I am in no position to evaluate these types of recordings.
Something else that bothers me is board members who always post to refer to and advertise their own websites. Each of Judd's postings has done just that. I suppose it's a pet peeve of mine.
