Title: Greetings
Post by: ralfy on November 12, 2012, 07:37:25 AM
Thanks for letting me sign up. I'm not sure why, but my account keeps getting deleted each time.

I joined the site to find out about any sales or promos for CDs or digital downloads.

Welcome. I will suggest that if your application gets refused it is because you posted something in your first post which appeared to be spam. That is by far the most common reason. In any case, you can post too. You don't have to be a member to look for sales and download offers, so consider posting about what music you like. People here always interested in talking with you. :)

What Gurn said above - and welcome. What composers do you like?

I think first post in this thread was my first, so something might have gone wrong.

I seem to have this hankering for Wagner (likely because of the Decca box set featuring Solti's version of the Ring), although I keep spending time listening to Palestrina's Stabat Mater (the one performed by Scholl and Bonney), Martinu's Gilgamesh (from Naxos), and a couple of others. Given that, perhaps it's an interest more in particular performances than in composers.
