Title: French Horn lines
Post by: Guido on February 21, 2013, 02:48:14 PM
Would either of these French Horn lines pose difficulty for a decent amateur player? I know that's a vague definition. It's treble clef, and written at concert pitch. That A is why I'm a tad concerned.

No, I'm sure they are fine. Are you composing something orchestral? Exciting!!!  :)  :)

Oh yes!  The French horn line is quite fine: nothing to worry about for a decent amateur!

Thanks Luke. I'm transcribing/arranging a Disney song for orchestra. Just finished actually - would you have time to have a brief glance over it?
