Title: What's Your Favorite Musical 'Theme'?
Post by: snyprrr on May 03, 2013, 11:38:03 AM
Just curious, right off the top of your head. A friend quickly responded 'Dr. Who'. Just for sake of argument I's say either Sergio Leone or 'Tubular Exorcist' or maybe 'Yakety Benny Hill', but lately I'm growing fond of 'I Dream of Jeannie' and most of all 'Barnaby Jones'.

Jeopardy? Percolating Coffe Themes? 'Peanuts Teacher Trombone'?

'Jaws' is ranking highly lately, maybe the single most powerful motif ever?

Tell me! Tell! I really wanna know...

Not always movies or TV...

Now THAT'S funny ... 'Awaiting Approval'!! I never said 'Hava Nagila', which, btw, goes great in the middle of 'Miserlou'!! haha

As I've been studying 'Themes, I have been rewarded with some interesting finds:

Imagine playing 'Andy Griffith' on top of 'Tequila', with 'I Dream of Jeannie' lagging bb a quarter note! You heard that first here!
