Indeed, Karl, but if I were to be honest about it I would place all three of these albums as equals, but
The Night Watch alone, gives
Starless and Bible Black a slight edge since this is one of my favorite King Crimson songs ever.

Back in the day I used to be able to play a solo acoustic guitar version of Baker St. Muse in it's entirety. Problem was there weren't too many people who appreciated it. ;D
Well, I have heard very very few complete rock albums since 1975. I have not bought above a dozen since the either. And rarely feel I've missed much.
Not sure what counts as Rock here. Enya? Techno? Pat Boone? Jeff Wayne?
Only 3 choices really.
Does Tom Waits count? Then Bone Machine.
Paul Simon counts. Graceland.
Depeche Mode as a band, probably Music for the Masses to pick one.
The rest would be just what comes to mind. Leon Redbone, On the Track and
Elton John, goodbye Yellowbrick Road come to mind this moment.

Tom Waits counts for everything, otherwise we're all gonna be just dirt in the ground.
Pretty hard question but Ill give it a shot:

A few faves off the top of my skull ..
Van Halen, Van Halen (1978)
!

Roth era Van Halen still stands up in my mind. Great guitar sound, deep vibe, sick grooves, great song writing.
It just surprised me to see it there. I love that album/era.
Men in stretch pants never attracted me. Though Eddie is a superb guitarist.
Jimi's attire was more my thing. Experenced is very close to the top of my list as well.

This only means you grew up in the late '60s. :)
1. Prince & The Revolution - Purple Rain
2. Pink Floyd - The Wall
3. Sigur Rós - Ágætis byrjun
4. The Smiths - The Queen is Dead
5. David Bowie - Low
not of all-time but right now, setting aside so many albums that I have burnt out on (like most of the great 70s bands) it would be
Black Sabbath vol 4
Triptykon - Eparistera Daimones
Celtic Frost - Monotheist
Cryptopsy - None so Vile
Swans - To be Kind
Way too hard.
