Here a picture of my new studyroom. Really love it, finally a decent place where I can work. Really a sort of discovery for me. I feel very happy about it. A larger room and your desk placed this way, with a view outside (I have a nice view on a large area of grass, surrounded by old (ugly) flats)), really makes a huge difference.
Excellent Henk! I am totally
all for Studyrooms. As I live alone (by choice, at the moment) my living room is laid out in a Studyroom kind of fashion. Will post a pic soon.

So important. Good on you Henk! ;D

Yes it is, it really works very well.
Curious about yours! What do you study?

Looks rather disorganized, Henk. Books on the floor, a hammer on the floor...everything just seems to be on the floor. Your desk also looks like a mess. Tidy up and take another picture. ;D

George Plimpton and Steve Jobs disagree:

Need to put some books in a bookcase indeed, seperate the good books and the bad. Was moving.
But a disorganized room is unevitable. I like to tidy up sometimes, but usually I postpone this as long as possible. :) Also, I read many books at a time, and have a plan of what I want to read, putting it in piles, or just somewhere (where they don't stand in the way), on the floor or table is actually a good way to keep things organized. :)
Jobs desk looks rather tidy. He has a computer!
Will post another picture later. :)

It's disordered, piles of cd's, cd's on different shelves. :) Maybe post later when I have tidied up. :) Also I have many mp3s.
Many jazz recordings however I have buried however. Not really good. But I keep them, part of my history.
I posted this awhile ago. It isn't a 'study', per se, but it is where I keep all of my music and books.

Great photo! I copied it to hang in my office tomorrow.
Haven't thought about George Plimpton in years. I need to go up to the attic and find my old copies of "Paper Lion" and "Out of My League".
(Henk's desk looks like it was left out in a bad neighborhood too long and someone stole the tires.)

Complete coolness, Sarge.
What's up with these six stacks of CDs on the desk? Recent acquisitions? And why did you put the "Feinschmecker" magazine in a picture frame?
And action figures of yourself? and Jesus, wow! :D

Literally nowhere else to put them at the moment. (The moment has been going on for a few years ;D I really need to buy some shelves.)

I love the cover of that issue. It reminds me of my years stationed in Munich.

The military figures were gifts from my best friend when I retired from the army. Gag gifts. The Buddy Christ was also a gift from him. We both love Kevin Smith's film

Moved all my cabinets with books to one room. I have my own library now! :) 8)
Will post a picture later.
Going to do my walls which are much more visible now in Roman style. :)
