Call me CoAG or Jessop if you can't be bothered typing out my full name. ;)

I'm 18 years old, live in Australia and I have a keen interest in composition and I play classical guitar. A couple of my guitar and orchestral works have recently been given public concerts and radio broadcasts, hopefully there will be more performances and recordings of my compositions in the near future!

I'm here to read about and discuss classical music, which has been my life for as long as I can remember. I am especially interested in new music, but sometimes I like to binge on opera or Bruckner or Sibelius or Mozart etc.

My classical music hero is Pierre Boulez.

Welcome Jessop, this site is owned and maintained from Australia. The Dungeon Master does not however take an active part in our discussions.

You are more likely to encounter me on the opera, Bruckner side of things. There are some lively discussions within the contemporary threads and folk will be keen to read of your opinions and experiences.

Boulez is your hero, but you binge on Sibelius and opera? This sounds like you've escaped from Prokofiev's The Fiery Angel. 0:)

Welcome, Jessop! Another new music fan here, though truly I like things from just about every period now and then. I am also a fan of Boulez - both his works and his conducting.

And good luck with your composing, too - not always easy (like many careers) but can be very rewarding.
