Poll
Question: Polls seem mostly the same, don't they?
Option 1: Is there something besides "what is your favorite...?" votes: 5
Option 2: Would you make a poll of something besides "what is your favorite...?" votes: 4
Option 3: Would you vote on a poll if it were something besides "what is your favorite...?" votes: 4
Option 4: Is it confusing to have poll options that are just more questions? votes: 6
Option 5: Banana votes: 9
Title: Variety
Post by: some guy on February 06, 2016, 12:51:19 AM
It's 10:43. I haven't eaten breakfast yet. I have music to listen to and books to read and Spanish to study. Yes, it's true; people in their sixties can learn new things, especially if they have not allowed their brains to atrophy by voting Republican or by eating white bread.

Oh, you wanted some words about the poll. I'm terribly sorry. Here: "some words" about the poll.

Wow. 10:47. It really took four minutes to type four lines? I should try to speed up some.

(Full disclosure: I have, in my various life, both voted for Republicans and eaten white bread. I have never made a habit of either. Also, in Europe, where I currently am, the word "republican" connotes something quite different from what it means in the US. So I apologize for making a US-centric joke on an international site. OK. Breakfast.)

I too would choose banana, which would then be a part of my healthy breakfast.

I much prefer deep fried plantain to banana!

Polls are mostly harmless! But I agree, the variety could be greater!

I voted for everything because everything is interesting on some level, isn't it?

Well, if that's the way you feel about it, I won't let you try one of the homemade croissants I am now making. Or the baguettes or the brioche.

I am not afraid to sacrifice a little breadth for a little more depth.

I am with you, Sforzando.  Bananas contains lots of potassium.  Bad for the kidneys.

On second thought, he can have the croissants. They didn't turn out too well. Really too hard for home bakers. But not the brioche, which was perfect.

'At's aight. I prefer bread that's crammed full of different grains and seeds.

I would have taken some of the brioche if you'd offered it, though. I may be a snob, but I'm not stupid. Well, maybe a little....
