Title: Hello to all
Post by: Keep Going on November 17, 2016, 02:12:25 PM
Thought I might say hello to fellow members here.

I'll have to blame either L. Berio or S. Beckett for my username.

Perhaps someone could help me decide.  ;D

Much obliged.

Welcome! When I saw your username (before clicking the message) I immediately thought Keep going! Going on! Call that going, call that on... (with the scherzo of Mahler 2 plodding along in the background, of course!).

What an amazing piece of music, that Sinfonia. I had the opportunity to see it live this past January.

I see you've already participated in the ridiculous insanity here. You'll fit in just fine  ;)

Choosing only one is ridiculous.

But I'd probably pick the 18th in B-flat major. An underrated masterpiece, with a particularly sublime slow movement.

Welcome!  :)

And if you value your peace of mind: be careful not to wander into the Dark Side.... (the US elections threads)
