Concerning the current attention on the fake news media in general, in my country we have and have had a few media and magazines that deliberately post fake news/invented stories only, as a specialized niche for satire, therefore not to be taken literally.
There was a magazine called "En skør, skør verden" (a crazy, crazy world) in the 1990s which published invented stories like you´ll occasionally seem in The National Enquirer and even worse places, about UFOs, unlikely accidents and diseases, ghosts etc., with some crudely made illustrations. They made no secret of that all this stuff was in fact very unlikely. In reality, it was more or less produced by a single person, but it gained wide circulation via kiosks etc.
More recently, we have Rokokoposten (The Rococo Mail) which posts fake, exaggerated stories only, but with a strong political and satirical twist, and very funny at times.
And now there´s Onlineposten (The Online Mail) which likewise only posts invented stories, but milder and without stating that they are fake. They are somewhat overblown versions of trends in society, but much less obvious than those of Rokokoposten. The point of that one is allegedly to sharpen people´s attention to fake news, but some people have taken the stories on the website seriously, and one could certainly object to the idea of wasting time on more fake stories, and say that on the contrary, those stories just contribute to a picture that is too muddy already.
Of course, there have also been many documentaries and movies that mix fiction and reality on various levels, or claim to show real events, or try to stage them, including "Mockumentaries" - Orson Welles´ radio show "War of the Worlds", Woody Allen´s movie "Zelig", Peter Jackson´s movie "Forgotten Silver", Klusak and Remunda´s "Czech Dream", etc.

Yes, competition has been really, really hard.
Thanks for the input, the style of this one was actually unknown to me, though I remember having seen unspecified references of some sort to The Onion. There are probably more examples in other countries too - likely mixed with other sorts of satire.
