Title: The Horror of Birds

BlueJays right outside the window sound like Rodan vs. Mothra. Add the Cardinal beep-beep, and off we go...

... there waaas a big pile of feathers in the front yard last week...


The birds around here (with hawks and vultures around) are a bunch of... of...


The LoveBirds are ok, but easily frightened...

The cats leave their feathers hidden under lawn furniture. Then they pretend they are still hungry...

One of my friends has a phobia of birds. Years ago she was in hospital recovering after an operation - in a small room with one other occupant and a television, and the room-mate wanted to watch Alfred Hitchcock's The Bird, the film being shown on the TV. My friend couldn't stop her -s she was able to get the other woman to turn the set away from her, but the sound of the twittering and fluttering still gave my friend the creeps...

Yikes, films like that should be forbidden to those recovering from illness.
