Title: Red Moon tonight (UK)
Post by: vandermolen on July 27, 2018, 09:22:44 AM
Typically it's raining and overcast here after several weeks of baking hot weather (Southern England). Not sure where this is visible from but hope you get a good view if you are interested.

Total washout - didn't see a thing. Typical that after weeks of clear skies it clouds over and storms just before this extraordinary (if you saw it) celestial event  >:(

Need to put my telescope away now.  ::)

Anyone else see the 'Blood Moon' ?

Same in Helsinki. No storms but too cloudy to see a thing. I saw a few minutes half-shadowed moon. That's it. What an anti-climax!  :P
