Title: Russians futurist thread, for the advance, Obscure names?
Post by: Carlo Gesualdo on January 11, 2020, 08:12:52 AM
Hello first of all I,m not anti Russian, I talk about Russians political leader I don't like Vlad Putin as a dictator and a mobster, but I don't have anything against the Russian people's as a whole, I first dabbled into Russian Futurist movement whit Obhukov, LouriƩ,, Mossolov and was blown away, I know Russian made what they called nowaday music concrete, noisy music, and I want to know more obscure composers , more strange, whit there own system of tones.

I have no obscure names, but possibly this exceptional recording may interest you.

21/06/2006 - Amsterdam (Pays Bas), Concertgebouw - Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Netherlands Radio Choir, Reinbert de Leeuw

Monique Kruse - soprano,
Martina Ruping - soprano,
Annelies Lam - mezzo-soprano,
Marcel Beekman - tenor,
Dmitri Ivachenko - baritone
Lidia Kavina - croix sonore
Netherlands Radio PO

I attended this performance. The specially designed/recreated "Croix sonore" was not used due to technical problems. Mrs. Kavina used a "normal" Theremin.
