Roger Blanchard on Bnf triple album of French Chanson , I could not ask for more, even if it's old, I simply don't care, think it's thee best anthology of French Chanson the most complete whit obscure name, some might say, well deprofundis it's old and the sound of it sounds date, my answer to this so what, it's charming, elegant, delight.

A most Have for French Chanson lover, it's awesome who care if it were record back in 1960 it's reek  excellence, I love it, what are you're best French Chanson anthology if you scorn this awesome set of music.

Mandryka have you heard it friend?

J'écoute Marguerite fleur de valeur (Binchois) tout en tapant ce message-ci. Autrefois le baryton ne m'a pas plu, mais cette fois ci je l'aime bien - j'ai un nouvel amplificateur, peut-être c'est pour ça que je l'aime. C'est surtout le charme du style d'antan.

Oooo - maintenant c'est une chanson de Hayne van Gizeghem, c'est beau ça! Mon souvenir.


De toute façon, je suis heureux qu'on me rappelle ces enregistrements, je vous en prie.

Excellent apport a ce post  je les redécouvert justement , réçament, tres bon enregistrement monsieur Mandryka, j'aime bien aussi, Bonne journée monsieur.

It's a great shame that Schmelzer didn't do Binchois's Deuil Angoisseux. There's a stunning modern performance here for voice and instruments.

Gothic Voices did it a cappella on The castle of Fair Welcome.  I'm not sure how successful an experiment it is, but certainly worth hearing.
