Amorphis. Quality band. Insomnium. Before the Dawn. Ghost Brigade. Hanging Garden. Wolfheart. Swallow the Sun. RoutaSieilu. Moonsorrow. Kaunis Kuolematon. Omnium Gatherum. And loads more. Utterly majestic. Undoubtedly my favourite part of the world for black metal, melodic death, doom, and most other genres.

However, none of these are composers of the kind of music that you mean. Can't help you with that  :) :)  :)

Kalevi Aho has written several pieces where he has overtly claimed Sami influence. (For example, the "Luosto" symphony, the percussion concerto.) Recently I wondered if he might get away with that for long. There has been a strand of Sami ethnic activism that compares the Sami to other colonized peoples across the world, and so it is probably a matter of time before a non-Sami like Aho gets criticized for "appropriating" Sami culture.
