I AM HOOKED......anyone else... :)
Me too :D.
But I like crosswords more ;).
WHAT ARE THESE CAPS!? OH NO! NOT SUDOKU! :P
(In other words, I'll pass. But thanks, anyway. ;))
Add me to the list as well. I'm hooked, I'm hooked, my brain is cooked...8)
I too am addicted to sudoku.
This web site (http://www.websudoku.com/) certainly won't help to cure you from your addiction – but it will save some paper.
I do a sudoku every day on this website www.stuff.co.nz but they also have a 'code cracker' which, because I'm far more word oriented, I prefer along with crosswords. Cryptic crosswords are my passion as far as puzzles go.
I love puzzles. I have most of the books released by Mensa (Sodoku, Kakuro, Mind Teasers ect.), as well as a number of others from different publications. I also have a giant book of Chess problems and situations, but that's only because i never have anybody to play with (plus i'm a chess n00b and i don't want to be humiliated in front of people).
Sadly, i just seem unable to solve cross words. My grasp of the English language and culture is relatively poor and i just can't wrap my head around them. Last time i went to Italy i brought back several big collection of Italian cross words but i'm just about done with them and after that i'll have nothing to play with. :'(
I like Sudoku, but I only occassionally play it. I don't have enough experience to solve the difficult puzzles yet, just the medium ones. Sudoku is much, much, much more entertaining than solitaire. It's like the new solitaire! ;D

My word, I say! My thoughts, exactly.
My daughter and grandson are addicts also.
I go in Sudoku binges. I seem to flip flop with sudoku and crosswords. Right now, working on a "Brainbuster" sudoku. ;D
I've tried Sudoku a few times, but it never really clicked. Crosswords are my puzzle of choice. I found some software for my Palm that lets me download free puzzles from the NY Sun and other places, so I'll often do them at work when somebody's meeting has gone horribly awry. ;D I've tried one or two of the standard crossword magazines, but most of them are too easy for me -- I like something that takes more than 15 minutes to solve, but that's not as hard as the NY Times Sunday puzzle. I like the Times' puzzles -- they are easy on Monday, and get progressively harder as the week goes on, culminating in the big Sunday one. I'm sort of a Wednesday or Thursday guy myself...
Angband, lately.
Yep!
I do the Tough, Diabolical, Fiendish and Super Fiendish in the (British) 'Times' and 'Daily Telegraph' ;D
Don't always solve them though!!

Do you like the Killer ones as well? I prefer them to the regular ones these days.
The
Times crosswords are fun too (although I only get the Saturday paper), the
Guardian cryptic very tough, but my favourite is the
Observer's Everyman one :).
Have never tried the Killer version, to be honest!
