Title: Beethoven: Violin Sonata No. 9 Op. 47 “Kreutzer”
Post by: ando on January 18, 2025, 05:38:46 PM
The vast majority of Beethoven violin sonatas on the Tube have the piano recording levels set too high and the violin reduced to what comes off as scratching intensely to keep up. The visuals in the post below are a bit too artful for my taste but the sound engineering is balanced right, IMO. Very good performances by both players.

Kirill Kravtsov, violin
Andrey Gugnin, piano
