Quote from: Selig on June 02, 2025, 02:42:18 AMAh, I wasn't aware of this. Do you like it?

Quote from: Mandryka on June 02, 2025, 06:49:12 AMI find it relaxing in small quantities. It's samey.

Quote from: prémont on June 02, 2025, 12:07:39 PMYes, bordering the boring.

We are heavily in need of more CDs dedicated to Busnois' chansons. The only other I can recall is Rifkin's old effort. I prefer him to Asteria even if Rifkin's singers are a bit amateurish.

I don't have much to add to that list, other than the obvious (you're forgetting Orlando Consort!)

Huelgas also did Bel accueil, but it's not how I want Busnois to sound!

Bel fiore is an instrumental Faenza thing, probably doesn't belong.

Thanks for this list. Nor have I anything to add.

Unfortunately I don't own the Ensemble Amadis CD. It looks interesting, particularly because of the inclusion of the DelaHaye song, which fortunately BTW exists on a few other recordings.

Edit:
I own another recording by Ensemble Amadis (lossless download from Presto). No Busnois here but rather interesting all the same. Presto doesn't list it anymore, I don't know why not:
