Here is what has been happening today........From The Guardian site.
"Mohamed Al Fayed branded Prince Philip a "Nazi" and a "racist" in the high court today as he detailed his belief that his son Dodi and Diana, Princess of Wales, were "murdered" in a conspiracy initiated by the royal family and carried out with the involvement of Tony Blair, the security services and others.
By the end of his day in court, Fayed's list of participants in the alleged murder plot and cover-up encompassed Diana's sister Sarah McCorquodale and her husband, Robert Fellowes; two former chiefs of London police; the British ambassador to France; driver Henri Paul; two French toxicologists, members of the French medical service; three bodyguards he once employed and several of the princess's closest friends."
He also specified Prince Charles, MI5 and MI6, plus all judges who have found against him. He additionally labled his son's ex-girlfriend as a slut and claimed that his son and Diana phoned him an hour before the accident to tell him that they were engaged and Diana was pregnant. He is allowed to speak like this because of court appearance rules.
I am pretty offended. I work for the UK government and I did not get a mention.

Dick Cheney didn't have a hand in it? Too busy working on the World Trade Center plan, I suppose.
I had not thought the two conspiracies were connected. I must dash off a note to Mr Al Fayed c/o Harrods; point out what he has missed and hint that a hamper of good food would not go amiss.
Mike
The ressurected J. Edgar Hoover had his hand in all this, I'll wager.
The true was that Diana herself planed all the thing, to became a martyr and a cult figure. Live, she was a second place of the rest of the family. Dead, she transform to nearly a saint.
Come off it Mike, how can the government be a standard to look to? They're even more driven by corrupt democratic imperatives to please people than the customer-driven media.
Actually I did see a 'news' bulletin last night about this matter and was very surprised that it was even covered to the extent it was: I'm certain there was a big mistake there from the controllers in not chosing to just play it down. Instead all they did was to try to rubbish it, never a good strategy of course as at least some people do always slowly start to wonder if there's fire by the smoke, and the status quo that the masses need so much is rocked.
Diana was an unbelievable nobody and irrelevance only elevated to comfort the minds of the irrelevant masses. But very likely the silly girl was murdered, sure- the disgusting royal family, the great statement of exclusion, privilege and class based repression at the heart of British society, have done endless such things in the past: they hate the catholics, so I'm sure they hate the Muslims, if Diana was going to marry one.
By the way I like the bit about Draculas and crocodiles: remember David Icke...

Why am I not suprised? ::)
I'm glad he made himself look the asshole he really is.
It is because of him that this long and expensive 'Inquest' is taking place at all!
However, I welcomed the opportunity to witness mass hysteria in my lifetime as happened in August 1997!
Incidentally, this irrelevance is due to drag on until April.

For a moment I thought you were referring to Sean. It never occurred to me anyone here would actually give credence to the theory of a murder. But, I did not take account for Sean's splenetic hatred and terminal suspicion. Anyway, Hector...yes, the blasted circus will drone on at my expense and yours for some time.
Mike
Was David Icke at the inquest? Shouldn't he have been?
laughing maniacally

In essence, yes.

It was actually the Daily Mail and Daily Express who murdered Diana. Just look at the facts - who benefitted most from her death? 0:)

Well if that is the measure; and a sensible one it is, then it was clearly a conspiricy of florists.

Please forgive me if this sounds cynical, but Elton John's career certainly got a boost.

Nor I.

Here is my question: surely a telephone record of the call would exist if indeed such a call was made, no? Wouldn't that be a great place to start?
Yes, I agree re the phone. I assume he has an elaborate conspiracy theory about that.
The idea that the French would help the Brits do ANYTHING is sufficient to undermine any confidence in his thinking processes.
As to Elton John. I can imagine him in a conspiracy with florists. It makes at least as much sense as anything Mr Al Fayed proposed.

A mistake you are unlikely to repeat,
Mike.
I don't know about that Karl; I am an eternal optimist.
Mike
You have not despaired of Sean? But that is beautiful.

Now that you mention it, he did come up with that song in a hurray, he must have prepared it in advance, which proves he was in on the conspiracy! Sean, we've got something to go on now!
