Title: Please give it a try

If it is only a modern classical-ish piece, I would be more than happy to find out what the "source" piece was.

Ciel Rouge, I would be surprised if this was an adaptation of an existing Classical piece - it doesn't sound like it.

I think Que is right. This sounds specially composed for its medium.

Thank you for your swift answers. In that case, if it DOES at least remotely sound like anything truly classical you know, please drop me the title. This set of notes seems to obvious for me not to be used in something more elaborated before.

Maybe try to sample online some music by contemporary composers Philip Glass, Steve Reich or Michael Nyman

I know this isn't a classical piece because, well, it's quite short isn't it? The same musical phrase is being repeated repeatedly, kinda boring really.

Sounds like music for a computer game. Like Warcraft. The repetitions could come from that because the music for such games is generally looped.

Sure it is repetitive and the phrase is looped. However, what I am looking for right now is a piece where the same phrase is found in a non-repetitive, more varied, real classical environment.
