I am the 3rd, which is my least favorite of the four:

I come out as the Fourth. And I do not necessarily diagree with the description of my personality....it has some accuarate points. BUT the Third is my favorite, by a lot! So what does this say about the quiz?......

It is very curious. The result was the 4th, indeed my favorite Symphony. Then the 3rd, the 2nd and the first in last place. Exactly my feeling about the four Symphonies.

The 2nd, with the bar not more than 55% full. Underneath, the remaining 45% is under the 4th symphony. Well, they happen to be my favourites :D (in the reverse order, although the finale of 2 is my pick from all the symphonies).
OTOH it just so happens that I have the most versions of the 1st, which is also my least favourite. I think it's because the work's greatness is masked a bit by a more bloated architecture: an imposing façade with not enough windows. I need more diversity of angles to fully appreciate it.
Says i'm the 3rd..... the runner-up is the first. It would be the first if that symphony had ended in a slow, melancholy mood instead of a fast, triumphant mood.

I didn't really read the blather about coming out as '2', with an ascendant in the 4th moon symphony. But musically it fits quite nicely.
A reasonable balance between the Fourth and Second. Thought I prefer his First and Third ...
Maybe opposites attract. After all the question was which symphony you ARE.

What a silly quiz! ;D I especially liked question number 10 - I chose D, to honor D Minor (I know it doesn't work exactly that way but I really had no other way of making up my mind...).
