Yep, Bach. I haven't participated in the most recent polls (impossible for me to choose between Mahler and Wagner or Chopin and Schumann) but this one is easy.

Forget Froberger or Cabezon, where the hell is Sweelinck? That is THE number one entry if you really want to include composers from that particular era.

Rameau... jolly? He's one of the most heart felt composers of the Baroque era. The mind boggles...
